Thanks to its central situation in the heart of the department and its closeness to the Pareloup lake campsite Le Caussanel offers a privilege in at least two ways; the surrounding nature allows both sport and nature activities. Moreove, its central position offers numerous possibilities to discover the different sites in Aveyron which are really worthwile.

    Canoeing-Kayaking : The Soulio, our partner proposes to discover the Gorges of the Tarn in canoe or in kayak. Two courses, L'Incontournable (10 km) in the most beautiful and most narrow part of the Canyon of the Tarn, the Memorable (23 km),course with the abysses and rapids.

    Micropolis, la cité des Insectes : Half way between a museum and a theme park, you will find fifteen themed exhibitions, all interactive. Micropolis will lead you into the minute world of "life at ground level". Unique in Europe, between Rodez and Millau, Micropolis invites you into a living world, infinitely small. Everything is organised so that adults and children alike can discover this fascinating world.

    Vélorail du Larazac : Freedom on the rails. Couple, family or just between friends, these splendid and amusing excursions will take you on an ancient railroad full of mystery and charm. Tunnels and viaducts punctuate the trip along the magnificent valley of the cernon. This journey outside time will delight the big and the youngs.

  • Basketball : Ground multisports on the campsite. Tournaments are proposed.

    Fishing : The Pareloup Lake will delight amateurs and passionate persons who can "tease" pikes, carps and the other fishes...

    Golf : In the heart of a sports complex, the Golf of the Grand Rodez situated in 30 minutes offer an exceptional view on the city of Rodez.

    Horse riding : Situated in 15 minutes, The Stable of Bannes proposes to the beginners and confirmed walks.

    Sail, water-skiing, navigation : The Pareloup Lake is opened to the navigation motorized and not motorized as well as to the water-skiing. Various partners propose rents (sailing dinghies, catamarans, ...)

    Table Tennis : Two table-tennis tables will make the happiness of everybody! Tournaments are also organized.

In the campsite's aquatic area you are lying on a sun lounger while the children are going happily down the slides. The aquatic area is equipped to please even the youngest. Outside the aquatique area you have access to 1200 ha water to sail, water-ski, fish or have a swim. Entertainment organized on the campsite is adapted to everyone: mini-club, games, tournaments, theme parties in the evenings, shows in the open-air theater...

    Golf practice : Installed in the heart of a sports complex, the Golf of the Big Rodez, at 30 minutes' drive from Le Caussanel, offers an exceptional viewing point onto the city of Rodez, to join discovery to activity. Side practises(has a practice): 18 holes (By 70 - 5548 m) and installations of training: Practice 20 posts among which 16 covered posts(post offices), putting green, pitching green, compact 6 holes.

    Ground multisports : Tennis-court, beach volley, football, basketball, handball, petanque and table-tennis tables are available on the campsite.

    Mini farm : Attached to the campsite in a nature environment there is a smaal farm in July and August. There is a pond in which the children can fish during an organized activity (subscription at reception)

    Sports path : 4 km walk around the site.

    Horseback riding : The Stable of bannes in Tremouilles (14 kms).

    Outdoor theater : Here is the meeting point for the welcoming cocktail during July and August.

    Climbing wall : 4 ways of initiation outside for all. only during organized activities.

    Tennis court : on the campsite. charged in july and August.

• Washrooms and launderettes

  • Motorhome service point : We have a service area for the disposal of used water for camping cars. However, it is for our customers only.

    Toilets and Shower Bloc :

At the campsite several eating, drinking and snack services are available for you: bar, restaurant and take away. The small grocery sells a basic range of products as well as fresh bread and croissants.

• Reception, Staff and Activities

  • Entertainment/Activities : Our entertainment team organizes several cultural and sport activities at the children's club, the teenagers' club as well as for the adults. Every night an activity is organized at the bar for everyone.

    Entertainment for teens : For youngsters between 11 and 17 years old. All kinds of activities are organized (sport tournaments, climbing, biking, ...)

    WelcomeTeam : This team will be at your disposal during your entire stay to help you wherever they can: your holiday is their priority.

    Mini Club : For children between 4 and 10 years old. You can subscribe your children every day and it is entirely for free. At the children's club they will participate in serveral activities adapted to their age. (circus, dance,...).

  • Bar : On the menu: non alcoholic drinks, cocktails, ice creams. You can stay in or sit on the terrace. The bar is open every day at 10. (July and August)

    Takeaway Meals : Wide selection of pizzas and salads on the "take away" menu.

    Restaurant : The restaurant accommodates 60 places and has a terrace as well where you can enjoy a tradional and local meal.

    Launderette : On the campsite there are several washing machines and 1 tumble-dryer. They are activated by a token which you can buy at reception.

    Internet Space : There is a WIFI connection all over the campsite accessible with your own computer. Ticket sales at reception.
