The “Domaine de la Paille Basse”, a restored medieval village set on a wooded hillside, was brought back to life thanks to the tenacity of one family, and visiting holidaymakers. Rarely do we see sites of such high standing.

Campsite : Domaine de La Paille Basse is constituted by 3 farm buildings with living house. Ancient medieval deserted village, its ruins were reconstructed by the grandparents of the current owner to make this very charming campsite.

In the farm L'agneau du Quercy, the menu will be: visit, tasting, force-feeding of the gooses, recipes and smiles … During one of our strolls, you will discover the Gaillarde brewery where you will taste the beer from our home. The museum of the famous old plum of Souillac will welcome you for a visit and a free tasting.

The three farms have been nicely restored with many services, modern and quality equipment for the comfort of campers.

The three farms have been nicely restored with many services. The restaurant offers the opportunity to taste regional dishes made from local products. We also offer a Take-away service with a large choice of pizzas, salads, chips and other snacks. Have a drink at the terrace by the bar in the shade of a chestnut tree or while enjoying the evening entertainments with our team (July and August). In high season, enjoy a dance at the Discotheque or if you prefer, have a drink with friends at the night bar. In the afternoon, enjoy ice cream, pancakes, sandwishes and drinks of your choice at the Crêperie by the swimming pools. You will find a great choice of products at our Shop : Bread, cakes, newspapers and magazines, dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables, cleaning products, games, wine and spirits… At the Reception you will find all local Tourist Information, postcards, stamps, tokens for the Laundry, our own little Library…

    Caretaker : The guard does rounds from 11 pm to 3/4am.
