The time « Rendez-vous » is dedicated to the discovery of young talent in France and the international scene, it claims to be as a « sas d’anticipation » which has already exposed young artists unknown to the international scene.
Since 2007 Veduta has created urban local situations which amount to areas of contact and convergence between determined artists, curious experimenters, artworks and cities. The Italian term “veduta” was used by the painters of the Renaissance. The translation of this word is to « view» or “that which is seen ” an open window that breaks the perspective of the painting, encouraging one’s gaze to look elsewhere.
The idea is to gather the most dynamic actors of the cultural regional scene around a common poster: Résonnance. The Biennial event of Lyon invites art centres, galleries, cultural institutions and groups of artists in the region to join in any way to create various projects. Contemporary art, but also literature, dance, theatre or music all creative expressions .
